Not a fish tank!
These are fish swimming in Falmouth harbour near the National Maritime Museum Falmouth. There is a tidal viewing room in the basement of this amazing building below the waterline where people can peer into the murky waters looking for any fish or shellfish at different stages of the tide. The fish must be attracted by the light or may be a little warmth in the corner.
In the afternoon we took a boat trip around the harbour, we were very honoured as we were the only ones that turned up and they still took us out! The extra photographs are of a couple of gin palaces we googled at. The white one apparently - wait for it - cost one hundred million pounds to build. No-one knew who the unlucky lucky owner was and I can't imagine what it looks like inside. There was no helipad either! The black one in dry dock belongs to the owner of Asda who had taken over the Falmouth Hotel with her daughter. The hotel is less than quarter of a mile away and a helicopter was used to ferry them over to the boat!!
We much preferred our little open-air wooden motor boat! The boys on the boat are good at doing Who's Who about the harbour on a daily basis to tell the grockles!
The third photograph is for contrast, a tall ship which could have been a hundred years ago.
