Brise Soleil
In Manchester most of the day. There is a heavy police presence, and Albert Square is out of bounds. The national referendum result is going to be announced from the Town Hall about breakfast time they say, so lots of media expected.
Whatever the result it is going to be a momentous event, and either way things will not be the same from tomorrow. Some of the misinformation presented through the campaign would have been worthy of Joseph Goebbels, and the country is left badly divided.
The blip is a building in Spinningfields. The cladding (an extreme form of Brise Soleil I think) is particularly abstract in form. Something to celebrate today at least.
I am now going to get some late afternoon sleep before I head to the Stadium for the Count. We have to be there for 9pm, verification and then counting start at 10pm. It could be a big turnout. I hope I am home before 3.30 am.
What are the chances of of a general election before the end of the year ? Two counts so far this year, things come in threes ........
