Cabrespine

Th Gouffre geant de Cabrespine is a huge chasm in the rock, and this picture cannot do it justice. Flickr will hopefuly address this when we return. a glass bottomed extension pushes into the middle of the cave, and the bottom is far far below.

The operators have decided that loud music and flashing lights enhance the experience... they are wrong, and I hope the bass vibrations don't collapse the stalactites and curtains that run across the top.

And the rest of the day was spent exploring massive switchback hairpin bends on mountain roads and being prostrate beside the pool. I'm a little sad, if not entirely surprised, to find one of my Facebook friends intending to vote out tomorrow. You think you know people...
