Dafen Painters Village

Today, Martin got to do something he's been wanting to for years ... visit Dafen, a painters village in Shenzhen, China. Right across the border from Hong Kong.

I've been before and bought a beautiful Monet from there, which we love. And he's just never had the time to go, but he did it today.

We loved it and bought two more Monets!!! We're really pleased. We spotted these statues and I asked Martin if he could 'statue' himself and this is him being a terra cotta warrior!
