And his name is Jakey.

I have been without Jakey for over 1 week, but this morning I picked him up from the cat hotel where he'd been staying.

It was lovely to see how pleased he was when he saw me, leaping up to greet me and letting out a large yowl of a miaow!

I think cats get over these separations quicker than dogs do, although he was a little restless at first but I think all is well now and as it should be.
