Quod oculus meus videt

Bore Street, Lichfield

As some know, Saturday mornings is usually taken up with a visit to my Mother in Lichfield. I often pop into the city and was struck by the blueness of the sky this morning. Here you see Bore Street, with the spire of St Michael's church dominating the street scene.

The church is right next to the birthplace museum of Samuel Johnson, who put together the first dictionary of the english language in 1755.
