Poppies and corn cockles

Late this afternoon I blipped these bright red poppies and mauve corn cockles near home on an extraordinarily rich patch of (probably sown) roadside wildflowers.  They are growing with cornflowers, ox-eye daisies and corn marigolds.  I have already done 2 blips from here and will certainly do more.

Apologies, I am turning off my comments for a few days.  There is nothing wrong as such, but I do need to turn my attention elsewhere.  Hopefully not for long.  I will, of course, go on posting, looking at your journals and scattering as many hearts and stars as I can!  xxx
