A happy decor

I live on the 5th floor of a large apartment building for lower income seniors.  Residents are encouraged to do some modest decoration of the alcoves into which their doors are set.  Today, since my usual elevator is out of order, I came down another hall and spotted this enthusiastic exhibit.  The resident is a charming and always cheery woman from southern Africa, and she has hung up all sorts of things that she cherishes, including a signed photograph of President Obama and his family.  Although her style is a bit over-the-top for me, I I delight in her happy engagement with the world.
