mountain. The Black Cuillin mountains to be precise.

The weather forecast was wrong. It hasn't rained all day. But having stayed up till the very end of the Olympic Opening ceremony last night (loved it for the record) we didn't have a fast start today. But it did rain when we got to our destination. In fact it poured. So you don't get to see the peaks of the mountains or the fairy pools which we were aiming to reach, but were beaten back by the weather. We might try again on Tuesday.

Two Olympic disappointments already. But never mind, its the best sporting fortnight in the world, and so far (G4S and Aiden Burley excluded) I'm proud about whats going on in our capital city and around the country.
