Landscape.
We had a day of Skye rain today - heavy showers, light showers and times where it just felt like the cloud was touching the ground as it blew in from the loch
I give you the view from the back of the garden down to the house and beyond. When Mum and Dad moved in 9 years ago in October the whole garden was covered in bracken. The land has been lovingly tamed since then, no nasty chemicals here, just repeated strimmings and lots of hard work. It is a pretty wonderous place; with a bridge across the burn, fruit trees and bushes, veg and herbs, alongside the trees, shrubs and patches of wild flowers and grasses now given licence to grow with the bracken not quite gone, but reduced signifcantly.
Actually have plans to head further afield tomorrow, so you might get a different bit of landscape. But then again the forecast is awful and there is a load of olympics to watch. Can't wait.
