Perfect reflection

Didn't take long to pack up in our tiny cabin. Had a quick clean around and then packed up the car for the way home.

This lake was on our way back to the main road. The morning was so still, there was a perfect reflection of the surrounding hills in the lake. The photo does not do it justice.

Uneventful journey home. Pleased to see that sons had left the house in a reasonable state and that they seemed to have had a good time together.

Excited to find baby newts in the pond - there must have been some eggs on the plants that I got from the water garden centre (there were certainly loads of adult newts about!).

Downloaded the stats for our walks - 37 miles in 5 days (and I'm sure most of that was uphill!).
