World Wide Knit in Public Day!

Bringing knitters together since 2005. Today there were 1,015 knitting sites in 57 different countries. Our local group was somewhat overshadowed by the Tyrannosaurus, but a good time was had by all. I met several new knitters, learned about an upcoming guild meeting, confirmed that a brand new yarn shop will be opening soon downtown, and got a yarn problem solved, all in the space of a couple sun-filled hours. And I managed to knit a couple rows on my project as well. Knitters are certainly a welcoming convivial and talented bunch.
