The High Road

A nice ride out, once the cloud had lifted. Cool to start with, but once through Dalkeith, I could ditch the windproof jacket and concentrate on the East Lothian countryside as I head up to Humbie. From hear I take the Soutra Aisle road

From here, I head to Heriot along the A7, which is quiet on a Sunday, and then over the Granites along the B709 and B7007. From Middleton I follow minor roads to Gladhouse Reservoir, on to the Top Gear road over Mount Lothian before dropping in to Auchendinny and the Seafield Moor Road and home.

No rain this week. Getting a bit of a tan as well.
