We had a beautiful drive up the country for a swim in the river and a picnic. She like the fishing nets and the squirty pistols, but was submerged for only a half-second.  It counts. 

A beautiful drive back too, via dozens of lovely places for potential future visits.  There was a minor sunday-related ice-cream availability issue, solved by (don't tell anyone) McDo's. 

The food we were treated to in Jacou (raw beef, courgette and wasabi salad anyone?) was equally spectacular. A tin of beans was also opened.
