Red, White, Blue & Green

The next field up from yesterday's Blip is more of a half-hearted orchard than anything else but it has lots and lots of poppies (and marguerites and some cornflowers) and it looked so lovely in the sun.

The sun that disappeared as I got my camera out.

And turned quickly to pouring rain.

In e-mail exchanges between G & I lately if she asks "when do you think you'll be home?", I answer "When the rain is at its heaviest, I should be home about 3 minutes after that."

It's Friday evening.  I shall celebrate by going to bed early and sleeping for as long as I can.
