The Beach & the Southern Alps
So clear and beautiful on the beach this morning. I always marvel at being able to see the Alps from the beach, even though it's a frequent occurence. It's extra nice with the snow. What's left of Shag Rock now, after the quakes, is on the left hand side, the Sumner Bar behind the woman in the red jacket, and Southshore beyond her and her dogs.
I've put a photo of the Signal Station in daylight - no sunset or sunrise light on it. Just how it is a lot of the time.
