My street

This is my street for the next six weeks. The photo was taken while sitting at the coffee shop across from the front door. It's a good place to get a Turkish coffee to start the day with.

My course started today - there are two groups of 18 students and from there we do some of our work in groups of three or six. Lots and lots of written work to complete...

The day finished well with dinner on the roof terrace of my hosts. Lovely simple Turkish food - I didn't know eggplant could taste so good. Friendly, genuine people. Good hearts. They live around the corner from me so it was good to see a bit more of the area.
