Road closed - no access

This is the scene outside our house - huge piles of shingle, and lots of big earth moving machinery. The road is closed (although we did manage to get out this morning, as they weren't working today), and a lovely new sewer system is being put in place. It's inconvenient, loud, earth shaking - literally, and we are loving it! our suburb apparently has a future, and for that we are very grateful.
