Bells for Breakfast

If you look carefully, you'll see by the smiles that this is not a dank Victorian prison. The cheeriness is result of ringing bells for 3 minutes with a crowd of other energetic peopleas part of Martin Creed's artwork ending the cultural Olympiad. The location is the Scotsman Steps, now beautifully restored and clad by Martin Creed in marble, a different one on each step.

We cyclists - one of whom turned out to be a fellow-blipper - were at the foot of the of the steps.
