Belton Park
Sometimes you just have to be in the right place at the right time. This morning we went to Grantham for a four mile walk around the grounds of Belton house. The deer roam freely and are an historic and unique herd. I was able to get quite close and was especially lucky that this mother did not notice me as she fed her fawn. The church in the grounds was particularly interesting with its memorial epitaphs straight out of Jane Austen. I don't think I could ever be as virtuous as Lady Cust! (see extra)
