Twins

Things just keep getting cuter and cuter around here.  When one set of babies gets big it seems another shows up.  The goslings are now barely distinguishable from the adults, especially when they all show up at once.  These little ones showed up with mom and had a great deal of fun chasing each other.  Such a delight to watch. 

The osprey put on quite a show today.  As a matter of fact, there were three of them and one eagle who dove at them and scared everyone off for a bit.  I thought perhaps I had enough osprey pictures so I just watched and enjoyed them.  Of course, that's precisely the time one of them decided to do something spectacular right at the best spot for a picture -- and me without my camera.  Well, I enjoyed watching anyway, but I did say a few choice words directed at that particular bird.  I just had a strange feeling he was laughing.
