Mission Complete

The final day of cycling took us along the Swiss lake side, through a couple of short rain storms, but no complaints there considering the atrocious weather that nearby areas have had in recent days. The sun came out again in the afternoon and we had a pleasant stop just before the border at a large park where the children played happily in the playground and I sat on a bench with a book.

Our final cycle back into Germany, crossing the border in Konstanz and heading back to the hotel where we had begun our journey. Around 180km covered in 5 days, and lots of happy memories.

A final wander into Konstanz for an early tea, followed by a celebratory ice cream sundae.
