Avoiding the Storms

The plan was to walk up on to the pointy jaggedy bits in picture then over the other side.

Our guide decided that the threat of storms and with me being tall a likely lightening conductor that he'd rather takes us on a gentler route and showed and introduced us to alpine flowers instead.

Whilst mulling over a drink stop, I indicated one of the huts, he looked at me in alarm and muttered something about The Frau and we walked quickly on to the next hut. (he seemed less keen to tell me the back story to that than introduce us to some more flowers).
