Mucky Monday.....

Were going to be shearing but weather not playing ball. Can't shear wet sheep as the wool doesn't store when wet. Started to mix slurry instead. Added more water from the burn to thin things down a bit , but maybe over did it a bit as this was the scene when I came back to check. The gas causes the slurry to froth up through the slats like a huge toxic bubble bath. It was a good foot deep by this stage, but once most of the gas is gone it will go down again.
Wee brother managed to get some hoggs (Young sheep ) shut in the shed before they got wet again tonight so hopefully things will go as planned tomorrow.
