Birthday Party!

Backblipped Monday 13 June

 Today Violet celebrated being 2 with a special Fairies and Pixies party.  Despite the Great British Weather doing its best with a monsoon like downpour, we all agreed that it was a thoroughly good day! 
The rain meant that today saw another first - the first time that we've had a pony come into our hall!  This delightful little pony called Polly is very experienced at making appearances at parties and was not at all put out by having to stand in our hallway rather than being able to give rides around the garden.  We all loved her, children and adults alike!  Look  here to see her posted as an extra

Violet had many wonderful gifts but she was absolutely delighted to receive a Queen Elsa outfit as she loves 'Frozen'  Here she is modelling the tiara, rather stylishly I think!

For my extra here I can't resist a shot that I took of the 'lads' rushing out to save our gazebo from collapsing under the weight of torrential rain.  I hope Mr MC and co will forgive me!


This weekend someone else also celebrated a special birthday in the form of HM Queen Elizabeth who is 90.  it also rained on  her majesty's celebrations, although on the Sunday rather than  today but in true British style we didn't let it dampen our spirits either here or in central London!
