Machine workshop

Any donated sewing machines for the charity shop are tested electrically and then I have them home to see if they function.  Amazing how often vital parts are missing.  I often have to resort to Google to see how to thread them but some still have their ancient instruction books.  Ok for a basic machine as a starter for someone.
No2 son was using my house as an office today so he lifted these heavy specimens onto the table (lifting by me presently banned).  I will test them and he can put them into my car to take back to the shop.

Psychology Course reading at the OU today - now know what 'loafing' is.  Does anyone have any ideas?
