Yes

We had a stroll around the Leith Market, then it was all over to the Links for the Gala Day. We just missed the parade but visited lots of stalls and bumped into quite a few friends and neighbours. One of the stalls we visited was the Bremner emporium which was tucked inside the Yes – Edinburgh North and Leith stand.

Unfortunately it was dreich and rather chilly, so no one was in the mood to hang about. Later on we went round to the Vaults, taking our visitors, but also to meet up with some of Mr Dave’s extended family and also some former OU colleagues of mine. The conversations ranged widely and a generally good time seemed to be had by all!
