Disconcerting

Our Weekend place to walk.
A body was pulled from one of the ponds here two days ago. A young woman who walked here every day. No other details yet.
We took our usual path anyway today but the park was practically empty.
There were a few police still in place to protect evidence.
I refuse to let this change my love for this park but I will admit it was strange today.
The headache didn't help but at last I walked today.
Tomorrow I'm back on a plane...
