Arizona Thistle

Cirsium arizonicum (Arizona thistle) is a North American species of thistle in the sunflower family, native to the southwestern United States and northwestern Mexico.

At the cabin this weekend - well, staying at a hotel about 30min away.
We needed to deliver sinks, lights, and my simple washing machine.
And we need to make more decisions...
So many flowers are in bloom right now that I had to stop and take a quick shot.
I love the thistles close to the fence and the other purple flowers were everywhere.
