Civic Duty

The Queen's birthday parade was meant to take up my day today. It was actually a lovely morning and the community came together with pride. The WI had yarn bombed early in the morning and their handiwork dressed the town.
I was home much earlier than expected and so managed a late lunch date with Him Outdoors and we then bumped into our niece and nephew with their dad who invited us to his for Saturday curry. Curry was our plan too so we whipped one up and took it over. Great evening.
