Ginspirational Day

Took a day off the bike today, but I'm ahead of the daily target for the month* by enough that I've earned that, and still don't need to do full distance tomorrow. Which meant I could spend an hour just sitting in one spot on the park from about 7am, watching the Pond, seeing Moorhens hassling Herons and Greylags; Mute Swans taking the youngsters to my feet to eat; and Moorchicks newly arrived into the world, all before a relaxed breakfast, then a Gin Festival in town (with a haul in the extra shot, which includes some new barware from a company that sells the same stuff I've previously had to source from the US, win).

Now out in the garden watching the chooks forage, as I watch Wales take a first half lead in the Euros. That's a good day all in all.
