Threatening

Parts of the canal bank at Barton are aglow with bright yellow flowers but the breeze was sufficient to keep them moving and just around a corner, completely sheltered, is this thistle. I assume it is a thistle but please correct me if it isn't.

I saw one on here recently and couldn't resist it when I saw this one this morning. Bit of back-blipping to be done over the weekend and I may even try to look at other journals too :)
