The-boy-in-the-attic kindly took on Richard Branson's massed vestal virgins for me yesterday, it helps that he actually knows what he's talking about (and has 'done time' on an IT helpline)....result: an almost instantaneous boost in speed and £7 off (that's right, OFF) the monthly bill. For the record it took 3 calls, about an hour on the phone, a formal complaint about the lamentable attitude of the supervisor who actually put the phone down on the boy mid sentence (who was patient and polite throughout, just didn't take prisoners) and a threat to cancel the subscription. Well done that boy!!
