A720 Under the City Bypass; Straiton-ish)

Inspired by middleman and his recent return to two wheels, I spent a couple of hours doing the Peripherique circuit of Edinburgh.

After the school drop off, I went home for the road bike and headed off; mostly pushed to Cramond by a helpful wind. Having been warmed up, the sharp climb at Cramond gives way to decent roads and soon I was breaking the speed limit as the grey skies gave way to steady rain.... Grrrr

By Wester Hailes I was soaked and by Oxgangs, the sweat was vying with the rain to see which one was making me wettest.

Still, all the time I knew I would take a slight detour and see what Cigs action there was at the underpass on Route 61 (Gilmerton to Loanhead).

And indeed there was a few things of note; I may have to get up early again tomorrow and get soaked and get some more blips.
