Birthday Girl

Clare' Birthday got off to a good start, glorious sunshine meant a cooked breakfast eaten in the back garden at the recently uncovered patio set.
Being Clare's Day it was her choice so following a leisurely breakfast we read some of the newspaper, showered and dressed to go out.
Coffee and cake was called for after a brief pit stop in the supermarket for bread.
We tracked down Billy Joel's 'Innocent Man' on CD for Clare in our only record shop before making our way to Princess Pavilion to hear the Oompah Band.
Sam joined us and after a drink we set off home where we again sat outside for Clare's 'Party Tea'.
Wraps, cakes, 'traffic light' jelly with ice cream and birthday cake made for a great celebration.

I believe Mrs S enjoyed her day.
