99 steps....

....that lead to Blackbeard's Castle!  (We didn't walk them!). Today we arranged for a private tour of St. Thomas, as we thought that would be  best in case the baby got fussy! (she didn't). Our driver was Coco, & he said he'd make sure we got to see everything we wanted to (we did!), & that he'd make sure we had fun(which we ALSO did!). What I loved was that he asked what we were interested in, and then made sure we got to see those things: Magen's Bay, the historic churches, all kinds of historic buildings--he also stopped at a fruit ranch which was closed, but Coco is friends with the owner, so the owner came out and made us a drink with soursap--a fruit that grows on the island. After we had a couple of sips he added passion fruit, then after a few more sips came the rum! It was delicious!!
