Spot the ants

It wasn't hard to spot the ants at forest school this afternoon, they were everywhere and the nest near the fire circle is rapidly growing!

This texture caught my eye in-between taking images for my class blog.  Was trying to get one ant in it for a game of spot the ant, but when processing I saw a little party going on.  Well, if you can call four ants either fighting over or collaboratively carrying a little caterpillar a party.

This log was used as a drum during a music-based activity later on.  If the party hadn't broken up by then, I think it was put to a sudden end.
