Signs of summer

Another glorious day.
Lots of errands and jobs to do.
I passed this field on the way to pick up some plants.
Seems very early for hay making, and this looks a little green, but I don't think it is for silage.
The fields are full of buttercups ( see extra shot) and the hedgerows full of cow parsley.
There is still hawthorn blossom out, but it is getting past its best.
Just looks beautiful everywhere you look.
Summer has arrived!
