Bee...utiful day.

For once the weathermen got the forecast right.
Cloud less sky and hot sun.
Perfect for a BBQ with our youngest son and eldest grandson. A happy day for us all.
A lot of laughter reminiscing.

The bees were busy today. I managed to capture this one before it flew off.
Can you see the pollen sac? Have just learnt that this is called the corbicula, and is part of the tibia on the hind legs .
( I hope I have got that right!)

Now off to visit our eldest son and wife who have just come back from their holiday in Las Vegas, and the granddaughters who have been on holiday with their other grandma, in Fuerteventura.
Lots of catching up!
