Some Like It Hot

It was 100 degrees today in old money and we spent several hours wandering around a zoo watching various species demonstrate their methods for keeping cool. The giraffes seemed generally a bit confused by it all; maybe they thought they were back on the African plain rather than in a field in southern Brittany. These two in particular looked a bit dozy.

Our method for keeping cool involved walking round slowly with frequent sit downs in the shade, saying, "Gosh it's hot" at regular intervals, and consuming lots of ice lollies. Despite the heat it was a very enjoyable day out. We even treated Mr DawnC to a McDonalds on the way home for good behaviour ;)
