Not so mellow...

I first saw yellow poppies in French hedgerows 20 years ago, thought they were gorgeous.  From I don't know where, we now have a couple in our garden.  They look so beautiful in full sunlight.

I suppose they arrived in bird poop like the two rowan saplings and a small holly that I moved today from an area we've been clearing to get shot of the ever invasive Ground Elder.

I hope the Co-codamol work on my crocked back tonight!
