Knock, knock. Who's there?

Nearly 11pm last night and there were blue lights and two vans coming along the lane to our house.  The door bell rang and the police were at the door asking if I'd lost 4 horses which were running along the B1404.  I explained that they weren't mine but pointed out the farm house and the stables and suggested he ring a couple of numbers I gave him.

This morning there were 4 new arrivals in the meadow behind the house!
