Rifugio Bortletti

Been meaning to walk to this refuge at some point, trouble is finding time. If weather kills a day, my day off gets killed as well. Aiming for Tuesday or Wednesday.

Tuesday would be a nice day of reflection though. This week has absolutely killed though. Didn't help to start the week feeling crap, and then to do a quick calendar count and I'm still counting the days away from my wife rather than days till I see my wife.

And that really has got to me this time. We've spent so much time apart in the past, this should be easy, 10 weeks, this is nothing, we've done longer times apart (although not much longer), but it really hasn't got easier.

What got to me most this week was that I still wasn't half way through this stay and I've already served 4 weeks.

Still counting up before I can count down.
