Hot Sauce

Mad dash dog walk in the morning before Dave and I spent a small fortune popping our cherry at Taste of Grampian...mostly on fruit gins, strawberries, chilli and garlic dressing and peanut butter dog treats...which sounds like a really annoying "get in the bally sea" posh persons shopping list but really... having headed out with no brekkie...we mainly stuffed our faces on the free samples. This strawberry and cream scone I'm stuffing my face with was worth it. No arguments. As no one famous once said, Nothing tastes as good as clotted feels. Mwahahaha.

Back home to drop Tess at the Newmachar School Fair with her pal while we temporarily scorned the community fundraiser like the cold heartless hermits we are and took Sam and the dogs to Balmedie for some splash splash splashing bookended by some Laurence of Arabia sand dune moments in baking hot heat.

Parental duties called us back to the Fair late on to watch Tess play netball and spend a few community hearted pounds via Sam's constant food hunts. Then it was all about an evening spent gathering another mans treasure from the nooks and crannies of the house to sell at the bootsale in the morning.
