Old Friends

Many years ago when we were young Mr L played in a pop group. I was a groupie! He played in the group, Kirk for many years alongside Brian on drums, Alan and Pete on lead guitars and Me L played base guitar. The last time we saw the 'lads' together and their respective wives was ten years ago at Brian's funeral, following a heart attack. there has been limited contact since, Christmas cards etc.
Just before we moved last year we received a change of address card form Pete and his wife Janis. They had moved from London to Hastings, not far from us. We all managed to sort ourselves out this week and today met up. They arrived at about 1pm and we all partook of a BBQ and wine followed by lots of chat, catching up and laughter. They stayed until 9:30, and considering tomorrow is my first day back at work with a 5:30 getting up time, I am blipping before I go to bed!
