Day 10: Ealing - Lewes

A pretty long day with significant climbs and we only left after midday - for a good reason: we had to pick up our bikes from the shop where they were serviced. I am so grateful to Francis for cycling the first 20 miles with us. This took us out of London and it was then easy to navigate After that it non_stop cycling. The Downs were not as fierce as as thought and the scenery was lovely but we were still glad to arrive at Rachel and Becky's! Lewes itself looks like an interesting town but arriving at 8:00, we didn't have time to explore. We were welcomed by Rachel who fed us a vast amount of salads and barbecued chicken, and we the joined Becky at the local pub Thanks to both of them for the hospitality!
