Fauna and Flora

A beautiful day up here on top of the world. The wild ponies and their foals were enjoying the sunshine, the Meadow Pippits were dropping out of the sky and singing their little hearts out, and the gliders were flying high, Mr T was too.

Denise and I went for a walk to the end of the long Mynd and down a lovely shady footpath where we came across a field full of yellow Irises. They are just starting to come out and will be a real picture by next week.
