Brooding African Thunderstorm

R snr made this shot for me on his way from work this afternoon! Got stunning rainbow shots as well, ahem.....had to choose! This one won the prize for today!
He was about 5 km from home, at the intersection to R jnr?s school to the left and our airport to the right, on his way from work.
The white wall on the left, fences the factory for TATA Busses and (yes it is true) Bicycles! R jnr?s school is right next to TATA, it is an Indian owned private school, following the Cambridge Curriculum.
On the opposite side you can see a big block of flats that was built here in the Colonial times, just before Independance in 1964. Such a pity that there was no money to maintain all the beautiful buildings they inherited, everything is in a state of neglect, whatever broke or rusted or lost it?s paint, whatever, just deteriorates further!
R arrived home 3 minutes before the storm started! Thunder, wind, bíííg raindrops, water running in streams, 30 minutes later it was all over again! Typical Sub Saharan Africa Storm!
Lovely and cool now! We just LOVE Africa!!
