uh oh here they are

Looking back to the last few years of blips the starlings have always arrived at the beginning of June so it was no surprise that two very noisy starlings arrived today. I expect more will follow !!!!!
Two more baby dunnocks too and the blackbird, who is now a job to tell the difference from his/her mum, is still being fed almost constantly.
A grey and drizzly day. Puffin Pool first thing which was great as my legs have been aching since our trip to Orkney and good to catch up on the gossip :) A few jobs and then catching up with episodes of Neighbours with David.
The birds are awake early, before sunrise, so as early as 3.15am I can hear them singing or the pheasant squawking.
