Todays blip is of a typical thatched 'cottage' here in Normandy. It was taken just outside the village of Bezu St Eloi, about 5kms from our village. The weather is once again unfortunately the main topic of conversation today. Still very wet and very dull. Not too warm either. There are many towns and villages flooded not so far from us, due to the heavy rainfull these past few days, and even Paris is on alert! Fortunately, we do not have any major problems this end, so far, probably because we are some distance from the river Seine, which, like so many other rivers, is over flowing in parts. The prospect does not look much brighter for the next couple of days, but hopefully next week will see a little sunshine. I hope you are not suffering too much from the weather front wherever you may be, and I wish you all a pleasant evening, day or morning, and thank you once again for your following.
